AX6-ACTIF

AX6-ACTIF thermodynamic round swirl diffusers by EffectiV HVAC™ are designed to efficiently supply heating and air conditioning in rooms with higher ceilings.

The diffuser will automatically adjust its swirl diffusion pattern based on the supplied air temperature, switching between horizontal projection of cool air and downward projection of hot air. By combining thermodynamic principles with optimal swirl diffusion, AX6-ACTIF can dramatically improve thermal comfort and energy efficiency.

ACTIF diffusers are self contained units which are automatically actuated by thermoreactive elements. They don’t require any power, configuration, controls nor maintenance.

AX6 diffusers can be mounted in false ceilings or ductwork or suspended from the ceiling. With various dimensions ranging between 10″ and 25″ duct diameters, they are suitable for most industrial and commercial buildings with high ceilings.

AX6 diffusers are also available with optional security grilles to protect the diffuser in gymnasiums and sports buildings.

KAM-D-ACTIF

KAM-D-ACTIF is ideal when supplying both heating and cooling from a horizontal duct opening in large rooms. Nozzle jet diffusers provide very long throw for large spaces. They’re designed to achieve long projections without the use of Coanda effect. However, their long throw is also greatly affected by the natural effect of hot air going up and cold air going down. This often results in stratification, thermal discomfort and important waste of energy. In order to counter that effect, KAM-D-ACTIF will self-adjust itself to send hot air downward 30 degrees and cold air upward 30 degrees.

KAM-D-ACTIF is made of aluminum and is suitable for direct mounting inside a duct opening. The absence of flange makes it very discreet.
